I founded Upscale Healthcare Services after over a decade of working in the healthcare industry—as a caregiver, coordinator, and staffing leader. During that time, I consistently saw vulnerable individuals, especially seniors and people with chronic conditions, struggle to receive consistent and compassionate care at home. Families were overwhelmed, caregivers were overworked, and agencies often lacked the systems or heart to deliver the dignity people deserve.

As a first generation entrepreneur and a woman of color, I felt a responsibility to build something better, something that reflects our communitie’s real needs. That’s why I launched Upscale Healthcare Services as a Residential Service Agency (RSA) in Maryland: to restore trust, reliability, and excellence in home healthcare. Our mission is simple—to provide skilled, dependable, and culturally competent caregivers who treat every client like family.

The need is critical:

Over 70% of older adults prefer to age in place, yet many can’t find reliable support.

A 2023 state report found that home health aide shortages are one of Maryland’s top care challenges, especially in underserved and minority communities.

Upscale Healthcare Services exists to meet these challenges head-on, with 24/7 support, a trained workforce, and a passion for improving lives in the homes where people feel safest. This business is not just my profession—it’s my purpose.
